The Surdna Foundation and Andrus Family Fund commissioned this report to better understand the ecosystem of next generation philanthropic engagement. “An Unprecedented Opportunity” focuses on the interest in social justice philanthropy and alternative models to engage the next generation of donors in philanthropy. While Surdna and AFF are leaders in engaging the next generation of philanthropists, the report is meant to supplement decades of family engagement and to better understand the evolving field at this critical juncture in American philanthropic history.
